Working collaboratively with apprenticeship training providers

Enabling broader learning and positive destination for apprentices through professional registration

We support providers in delivering content to apprentices that develops an understanding about the benefits of being a member of a professional body in the sciences, and how professional registration can ignite careers.

Better still, the apprenticeship being delivered, could offer to apprentices an eligibility to apply for professional registration using a shortened application route.  This recognises the quality of the learning and experience they have gained as an apprentice, using their apprenticeship certificate as the base of their application.

The list of eligible apprenticeships are detailed below, along with information on how the Science Council can offer resources and activity to support training providers.

LEVEL 3 AND 4 APPRENTICESHIPS ALIGNED TO REGISTERED SCIENCE TECHNICIAN RSciTech

These apprenticeships offer an eligibility to apply for professional registration as a Registered Science Technician (RSciTech) using a shortened application route. Click on each apprenticeship to find out more.

LEVEL 5, 6 AND 7 APPRENTICESHIPS ALIGNED TO REGISTERED SCIENTIST RSci
