Learn more at the T Level websiteWhat Are T Levels?
T Levels are a 2-year qualification designed as an alternative to A Levels, other post-16 courses, or apprenticeships. Like A Levels, there are no tuition fees if you start before the age of 19.
Created in partnership with leading businesses and employers, T Levels combine academic learning with practical experience to prepare you for your future career. You’ll spend 80% of your time in the classroom and 20% on a 45-day industry placement.
Who Are T Levels For?
T Levels are ideal for students who enjoy practical learning and want hands-on experience in their chosen field. They’re perfect for those looking to gain career-focused qualifications that open doors to future opportunities.
What Happens During a T Level?
Classroom Learning: Most of your time will be spent in the classroom, building essential knowledge and skills tailored to your chosen industry.
Industry Placement: You’ll spend 45 days working with an employer, gaining real-world experience while continuing your studies. The timing and structure of your placement depend on your T Level, school or college, and employer.
What Happens After You Complete a T Level?
T Levels are worth UCAS points – a Distinction* is equivalent to three A Levels at A*. They’re recognised by many universities and education providers, giving you the flexibility to continue studying if you choose.
