Healthcare Science Practitioner Level 6
Have you completed the apprenticeship ‘Healthcare Science Practitioner’ in the last 2 years?
If yes, you can now apply for professional registration as a ‘Registered Scientist – RSci’ using a shortened application route.
This route has been specially designed to recognise the skills and knowledge that align to RSci, that you have demonstrated through completing your apprenticeship. It offers to you the opportunity to use your apprenticeship achievement to gain professional registration, accessing great benefits such as raising your profile and growing your career.
What is professional registration?
Becoming professionally registered as a Registered Scientist (RSci), recognises your skills and expertise in science, and your commitment to continuous professional development.
It shows employers that you can work to a high standard and are committed to becoming the best scientist you can be. It allows you to stand out from the crowd and support you as you advance in your career. Over the years as you develop more experience and skills,
you may also progress to become a Chartered Scientist (CSci).
When you become registered, you join a professional body that is licensed by the Science Council to award RSci. The Licensed Body will support you throughout your career. You will be joining an exciting and inspirational community and gain access to fantastic networks with other scientists, and CPD opportunities specific to your scientific discipline.
